Jeffery Michael Gordon (born August 4, 1971) is a NASCAR Sprint Cup driver. He was born in Vallejo, California and currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is a four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion, Rookie of the Year in 1993, three-time Daytona 500 winner, and the current driver of the #24 Dupont Chevrolet Impala. His primary sponsor is DuPont, though Pepsi and Nicorette both supplement the team as secondary sponsors. Other sponsors include GMAC, Quaker State, Haas Automation, Bosch Spark Plugs, and Georgia-Pacific/Sparkle. Jeff Gordon and Rick Hendrick are the co-owners of the Jimmie Johnson #48 Lowe’s team, Johnson won both the 2006 and 2007 NEXTEL Cup series championship. Gordon also has an owns part of his own #24 team.
In 2008, Gordon is scheduled to race his Dupont paint scheme for most of the year.
